Larry Thomas is a 35-year veteran real estate broker who has personally sold over 2,500 homes during his career. He has also built and owned two independent real estate companies over that same period of time. In the position of Owner/Broker, he was responsible to review, oversee, and repair when necessary, the closing of thousands of real estate transactions written by agents under his supervision. He has also been a Divisional Vice President for American Express and trained hundreds of Consultants in financial planning, stock brokerage, insurance, real estate sales, and investing.
Over the past 35-years, Larry has purchased, remodeled, and resold investment properties for fun and profit. He has a master's vision on improving real estate, he understands cost effective repairs, and knows how to earn profits in commercial and residential housing. He is also able to combine the worlds of financial planning, investing, IRAs and other tax avoidance vehicles to maximize the real profits to any real estate investor.
In January 2008 he sold his company in Portland, Oregon to retire. After a few months of retirement he found himself bored with little to do. Alacarte Real Estate Solutions is a new company in the Portland/Vancouver area and was designed to be a fee-for-service, client centered, real estate consulting company. Under this model consumers are given service choices, alternate payment plans and fiduciary advice, all based around the client's best interests.
Larry holds the following professional designations: ABR, CRS, GRI, ePro and is also the Principal/Designated Broker for Alacarte Real Estate Solutions in both Washington and Oregon.
