Marilyn's first marketing/sales position was at the age of 9 when one summer she and her older brother (13) started a printing business in their basement. He was the printer and Marilyn would sell note cards, printed napkins and "calling cards" now better known as business cards.During the third summer her brother fell in love and that was the end of the business.
An entrepreneurial spirit continued to burn and burst into flame when as a single mom she landed an opportunity to work for the company that would become AOL. She was responsible for test marketing the inside telephone sales department. Of course Direct Mail marketing won the day and the position was eliminated. The experience of building an inside telephone sales department created a platform that launched a consulting career.
Marilyn's clients were small to mid sized manufacturers and distributors. She helped identify CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and then hired and trained the personnel to both sell the product and learn the software,
It was time for a change in 2001 when Marilyn's husband retired and she also wanted new challenges.The Technology explosion in Real Estate was just heating up and Marilyn knew how to use these new tools to grow her business and help her clients as they made decisions about the most important investment of their lives.
