
"I became an ACRE® because the whole concept makes sense--buyers and sellers paying for services rendered, just like doctors, lawyers, plumbers, electricians and others. No more waiting until a transaction closes, whereby the Realtor® accepts all of the risk, puts in hours and hours of work, and then may not even get paid if the transaction doesn't close.
It particularly makes sense for working with sellers who may have already sold a number of homes in their lives or who can perform some of the traditional functions themselves, i.e. open houses, flyers, etc. The important part of the ACRE® concept is that real estate agents are providing fiduciary counsel to their clients--advising them on potential courses of action, assisting in the delicate negotiation process, and interpreting the incredible amount of information now available to consumers on the Internet."
